Primary Health Care Research Consortium (PHCRC)

We are a global primary health care (PHC) research network led by organizations based in LMICs. We conduct prioritized and policy-relevant research to support country and global efforts to build high-quality PHC systems in pursuit of effective universal health coverage (UHC) and the health-related sustainable development goals (SDGs).

 

PHCRC in action

Currently we have projects on going in India, Uganda, Brazil, El Salvador, Lebanon, and Malawi to understand the landscape and key gaps of in service provision through primary health care channels.

Promoting stakeholder engagement at every level of knowledge production to knowledge consumption spectrum to ensure transparent and legitimate processes.
Encouraging the use of contextual evidence for priority setting and decision-making processes
Contributing towards a conducive environment that bridges the gap between researchers and health system actors
